Podiatry Services
Our Podiatrists are trained to diagnose and provide treatment to conditions involving feet and lower limbs. Our team can assist with all your general foot health care needs along with chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, and other areas including sporting injuries, orthotics, foot pain, and footwear, plus more.
It is advised to visit a Podiatrist 1-2 times yearly for general check-up, or on a regular basis for maintenance.
New patient screening can occur prior to booking for Private fee-paying consults when available. Private health insurance (if applicable) can often be processed in clinic. Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) referrals are accepted if completed correctly and arranged by the client prior to visiting Boots and All Podiatry.
General Foot Care
We can assist with nail care, including ingrowing toenails, discoloured or thickened nails, skin lesions including corns, callus, rashes, dry skin/cracked heels, foot warts and management of foot/shoe hygiene.
Sports Injuries
We can provide treatment for conditions including blisters, ankle sprain, stress fractures, shin splints, Achilles tendonitis, and associated leg and knee symptoms and/or injuries from sporting activities.
Chronic Conditions
We can assist with associated systemic conditions including diabetes, arthritis, and vascular disease, oedema (swelling) to legs and feet, back pain or clients with a risk of frequent falls and advice to assist with management of chronic conditions.
Orthotics
We conduct an assessment of the feet and lower limb to determine foot/leg structure and function biomechanical examination can be done to assist diagnosis and management of a wide range of foot and leg conditions.
Customised orthotics and innersoles for management of lower limb conditions can be made specific to order by prescription.
Foot Pain Treatment
We assist with the management of painful or tied feet, including heel pain, plantar fasciitis, foot injuries, joint replacement rehabilitation, and we can provide products to assist with treatment of foot and lower limb pain and recovery options.
Footwear Assessment
Footwear review and assessment can help identify issues or concerns with current footwear or foot pain. We can provide footwear recommendations, fitting advice, innersole options and replacement or adjustments as well as discuss footwear suitable for wearing orthotics and other associated devices.
